The Cairnhill Recreation Center has two areas for children and adults. They are separated by a soft play area and a large grass area with picnic tables and grills. In addition to the two different areas, the center has a big indoor pool with water slides. Every month, you get to learn a new sport or become an expert in your current one. The meetings are held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Cairnhill United Church of Christ. If you prefer to attend these meetings outside of the church, you can call the office if you prefer to meet there instead. (Should you change your mind after the first meeting, however, be sure to reschedule without any problems.)
The Cairnhill United Church of Christ is located at 5th Avenue North in Cairnhill. It is one of the few houses in Cairnhill that are still owned by the original settlers. Its history dates back to 1780. The house has since been restored by the residents themselves.
The residents of Cairnhill have made it their mission to keep the place livable for future generations.
